Pilates gives athletes an edge mentally and physically. The practice reduces injuries, speeds recovering time, improves range of motion, promotes efficient breathing techniques, and develops a strong mind-body connection.
The Pilates exercises practiced in this group work on increasing flexibility of the most often overused larger, tighter, major muscle groups and mobility of the spine in all directions.
